Nasi Berempah
Ingredients :
1 packet of 8 gm Adabi Soup
Mix
100 gm green peas
3 carrots (cut vertically long)
4 tablespoons of cooking oil
4 tablespoons ghee
9 cups of water (taken from boiled chicken/beef)
600 gm rice (washed)
1 inch ginger (pounded)
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 stalks of lemon grass (pounded)
6 red onions (shredded)
2 cloves of garlic (shredded)
Salt to taste
Cooking Method :
1. Heat the oil and ghee
2. Fry red onions, garlic and lemon grass till it
becomes golden brown
3. Add turmeric powder and let it boil
4. Add rice, Adabi Soup Mix,
green peas, carrot and salt
5. When the water dries, the rice is cooked and
ready to be served
Attention
: Do not stir the rice too frequently because the
rice might break |
